KOMPASSINDO.COM, JAKARTA – Mohammed Yasser, Export Manager and member of the Board of Directors of Al Amir Group from Egypt, affirmed the company’s strong commitment to expanding its presence in Asia, particularly Indonesia. He conveyed this during an interview with the media at the Al Amir Group booth during the Sial Interfood 2025 exhibition, held on 12–15 November 2025 at JIExpo Kemayoran Jakarta, Wednesday (12/11).
Yasser explained that Al Amir Group is now led by a new generation that brings fresh vision and strong momentum to expand the company’s global export reach. The company specializes in pulses, spices, dates, sesame, and nuts, and has been exporting its products to various countries around the world.
According to Yasser, Asia has become a key focus of the company’s expansion strategy. He noted that markets like Indonesia offer significant potential for high-quality Egyptian agricultural products. Quality, he emphasized, remains the company’s top priority as it continues to strengthen its global presence.
This year marks Al Amir Group’s second participation at Sial Interfood. Yasser observed several notable differences compared to last year, particularly regarding Indonesian consumer preferences. He highlighted that Indonesian consumers show strong interest in dates and raisins, making these two products the company’s primary focus for expansion. He added that raisins are a newly developed product in Egypt and are being introduced to the Asian market through this exhibition.
“Dates are currently in season, and the demand from Indonesian consumers is very high. Meanwhile, raisins are a new product we are developing in Egypt, and we are now introducing them to Asian markets through this event,” Yasser said.
Yasser further stated that the company aims to significantly expand its product distribution in Indonesia while raising public awareness about the high quality of Egyptian food products. He expressed confidence that consistent participation in international exhibitions like Sial Interfood will strengthen Al Amir Group’s position as a leading supplier of premium agricultural products in Asia.
With a strong focus on product development and quality enhancement, Al Amir Group is determined to build stronger connections with Indonesian consumers and establish broader partnerships with local stakeholders in the food industry.
