JAKARTA, KOMPASSINDO.COM – During the Chemical Indonesia 2025 exhibition, held at Hall B1&B2, JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, from July 29–31, 2025, Chua Boon Joon, also known as BJ, General Manager of the APAC Tank Business Unit at Milkyway International Chemical Supply Chain Pte Ltd (Singapore), shared with media representatives the company’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its global chemical logistics solutions, particularly across Asia, India, and the Middle East.
Established in 1998, Milkyway is a leading chemical supply chain service provider and a proud member of ITCO, FIATA, and WCA. With a strong foundation in China, the company has developed a strategic global presence through its logistics assets, including warehouses, isotank cleaning depots, trucks, and isotanks – enabling efficient, reliable, and locally adapted logistics services.

“We operate from multiple logistics hubs that allow us to offer highly reliable and customized chemical supply chain solutions,” said BJ.
He further explained that in recent years, Milkyway has significantly expanded its international footprint, now operating in over 35 countries across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas. This expansion has been driven by a combination of strategic investments, partnerships, and advanced technology integration to serve the growing global demand for specialized chemical logistics.
“When it comes to our international tank container transportation business, it is essential to understand and respect the local business culture and operational environment – such as in Indonesia – to tailor our solutions to each client’s specific supply chain needs,” he added.
BJ also expressed his appreciation for the organization and impact of the Chemical Indonesia 2025 exhibition.
“I’m truly impressed by the scale and scope of this event. It’s an excellent platform for customers, service providers, and industry partners to connect and explore collaboration. I hope the communication outreach of the event can be further enhanced to attract more companies as exhibitors and visitors. It has the potential to become a key fixture in Indonesia’s chemical industry calendar,” he concluded.
Lastly, we would like to convey our sincere appreciation to our esteemed local partner, PT. Cakraindo Mitra Internasional, for the kind invitation and opportunity to participate in this exhibition. It has indeed been a most enriching and valuable experience for us.
